A sunsent in Sahara
Gradually, the sky was varying its colour
as the sun got closer to the horizon
Looking around, there was nothing but sand and the dramatic sky
No people, no animal
just us standing in the desert.
It was so beautiful
and made me think of
the triangle relationship of
a man and the sun and sand.
At night the stars are shining above your head
and sand cools down.
Slowly the stars fade out and the sky gets brighter.
The sun shows up and bakes you everything from all angles.
“Ce qui embellit le désert, dit le petit prince, c’est qu’il cache un puits quelque part…”
“What makes the desert beautiful,” said the little prince, “is that somewhere it hides a well…”
-The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
